Generations Campaign Donors at Appreciation Events Hoping to Inspire Others

The Generations Campaign, to expand the Dell Jewish Community Campus, recognized early donors at two appreciation events at the homes of Susan and Bobby Epstein and Mary and Burt Kunik.

The goal is to raise $25,000,000. The Michael and Susan Dell Foundation has generously offered to match all donations after the campaign hits the $12,250,000 mark. The campaign has raised over $10,800,000. “This world-class vision includes, renovations, sustainability initiatives and construction of new facilities,” said Keith Zimmerman, Generations Co-chair.

Lynne and Steve Gellman were delighted by the evening. Lynne commented, "If you’re a part of the campaign, in whatever way is meaningful to you, you can take pride and ownership when you walk through the doors. If you had nothing to do with it, I do think it makes a difference. There is a different feeling when you know you helped create part of the campaign."

While Steve added, "We’ve often said that it’s not necessarily the size of the gift that dictates the quality of the gift. It’s just participation in the campaign."

Generations Co-Chair, Judy Waxman said, “We may not have called you yet to talk about Generations Campaign. Please know that we want to talk to you. Every person in this community is important. We hope everyone will contribute. There are many more people to reach so please call us and let us know you are interested. That would mean the world to us."
