Neighborhood Nosh kicked off December 9 with events in five neighborhoods around Austin. A program of Shalom Families, the goal of Neighborhood Nosh is to introduce Jewish people who live in the same neighborhoods.

December hosts opened their homes in South Austin, Central Austin, North Austin, Cedar Park and the Round Rock-Georgetown area for a Hanukkah brunch and schmoozing.

Neighborhood Nosh will take place twice a year. If you are interested in hosting or meeting other Jewish people in your local neighborhood, contact Karin.lester@shalomaustin.org. ■
