ECP Hosts Haggadah Project

ECP Hosts Haggadah Project

By Wendy Goodman

The Shalom Austin Early Childhood Program hosted an educational and artistic fundraising project with students for Passover. Children in every ECP class enjoyed making their own holiday-related artwork to fill the pages of a custom-made Haggadah, the book used during Passover Seder that guides the retelling of the story of Exodus from Egypt. The Haggadahs were offered to all parents and organizations in the Austin Jewish community including synagogues, Sunday schools, PJ Library participants and more. All proceeds benefit the ECP. ■
