Community Members Selected for Notley Fellowship
Austin Jewish community members Jeffrey Schwartz, Rachel Jamail and Glynn Kaplan were recently named 2018 Notley Fellows. Jamail is a Notley Fellows founding member and was very involved with the inception of the group.
Self-described as "an accelerator for purposeful leaders committed to taking on challenges in the social sector," the two-year fellowship facilitates education around social innovation and entrepreneurship, providing firsthand project experience with Notley -- a hub where social innovation companies can connect, share services and find the resources to grow – and administering access to board observation and placement within innovative nonprofit organizations in the community.
"Bringing together the best and brightest social innovators along with nonprofits and mission based organizations, the Notley Fellowship is designed to prepare and engage our community's rising leaders to solve today’s most pressing issues," the program's website states.
