Girl Scouts Present Bookshelf to PJ Library

By Jackie Ayala

Girl Scout Troops 6 and 1299 recently presented a bookshelf to PJ Library. The bookshelf was their woodworking project and part of their tzedakah project for the year.

PJ Library Enables Families to Start Building Jewish Libraries
PJ Library books celebrate important aspects of Jewish culture, values and tradition and become cherished bedtime stories. The age appropriate books and CDs are mailed to registrants' homes once a month, free of charge. All families raising Jewish children from six months of age through eight years old are eligible for the program.

Around 850 children in the Austin area get PJ Library books.

The PJ Library is a project of the Harold Grinspoon Foundation, with generous local support from The Clifford Zeifman Family, The Leo and Rhea Fruhman Foundation, The Jewish Federation of Greater Austin and the Harold Grinspoon Foundation. ■
