Volunteers for Israel Connects America, Israel Through Service

By Jack Solka

Volunteers for Israel connects Americans to Israel through volunteer service. The organization achieves this goal by partnering with Israeli military and civilian organizations that enable volunteers to work side-by-side with Israelis.

Volunteers for Israel promotes solidarity and goodwill among Israelis, American Jews and other friends of Israel. The group recruits, assists and processes volunteers to live on IDF logistic bases and work non-combat jobs alongside Israeli and volunteers from many nations.

VFI is a nonprofit, non-sectarian, non-political United States organization. To learn more about Volunteers for Israel, visit www.vfi-usa.org. ■
