Last month, 11 Lions of Judah from Austin traveled to Florida for the International Lion of Judah Conference.

The ILOJC takes place every other year, and inspires women to come together for three days of learning, sharing and celebration. In less than 48 hours, nearly 1,400 women raised more than $35 million to address humanitarian needs of countless people across the globe.

Lecia Sud, 2019 Annual Campaign Chair, was honored as Austin’s Kipnis-Wilson/Friedland Award recipient in recognition of her leadership throughout the years that has shaped our community. She follows in the footsteps of previous award recipients from Austin, Margo Smith and Susan Zane Epstein. ■
