Mitzvah Knitters is a group of dedicated crocheters and knitters that meets Friday mornings at the Dell Jewish Community Center. Participants make and donate baby blankets, lap blankets, scarves, shawls, hats and various other items. These items are then given to charities and hospitals around Austin to help others enjoy the benefits of warmth and love included with each gift.

Mitzvah Knitters welcomes to the group all who want to share their talents. The group also ask for donations to help supply yarn used for these very worthy projects. ■
