What do you do on a hot July day? You head for the J and listen to cool music. Shalom Austin adults 55+ presents a Sunday cabaret featuring music by your favorite composers and lyricists of the Tin Pan Alley era with songs that stay popular year after year.

Sue Bilich, funny, loves story songs, jazz and musical theater, think Gwen Verdon.

Suzy Gallagher, funny, loves character-driven songs. She'll sing anything Ethel Merman sings.

Richard Chiarello, encouraged by his Italian American family to perform, loves center stage, think passion.

Don Sassano enjoys standards and the Great American Songbook from the 1930s-1970s brings those memories back, think crooner.

Greta Gutman will accompany these talented vocalists on the piano, think versatile. ■

Put this cool afternoon of fun on your calendar July 28 at 3 p.m.
