The Rapoport Center is excited to announce Shalom Austin Adult Jewish Learning. AJL is a continuation of the high-quality Jewish learning experiences that Shalom Austin is committed to offering, but will provide more flexibility to students as each person will be able to choose the best learning opportunity for them based on topic, instructor and time.
Starting in November, classes will meet Monday evenings at Shalom Austin. Each month from November through May there will be a new topic and a new teacher presenting a monthlong module around a specific theme. Students will have access to the full layout of topics and instructors in advance of the first module to plan their year.
Students interested in participating in all seven four-week classes can sign up for the entire program for $360, or students can sign up for individual modules for $100 per module.
Those who join this endeavor will experience a wide variety of exciting Jewish classes on campus while building a community of lifelong learners through a cohort that will bring together people of all backgrounds and beliefs.
